About
WHO AM I?
Often hired because I’m a relatable and conversational voiceover talent, I’m a professional US-based female voice actor with a SourceConnect Standard studio. My voice can be heard internationally, and has been heard on national television networks as well as radio and other multimedia such as e-learning, web sites, video pre-roll, podcast intros/outros and promos, phone messaging, and beyond.
AM I ONE OF THOSE FLY-BY-NIGHT VOICE ACTRESSES?
No way! I’ve been been a full-time voiceover talent actor since 2007. Yep, this is how I make my living! I’m punctual (I tell my husband allll the time, “You can never be too early, but you CAN be too late!” LOL), meet deadlines before they happen, and take direction well. I’ve been told I’m good fun and easy to work with. Look, my job is to help tell the story you’ve created, and to make your job easier. That’s my goal.
WHAT DO I SOUND LIKE?
For this fun section, I wanted a fresh perspective, so I asked my friends to describe my personal voice brand. Here’s what they had to say: “Boho and earthy, fun, bubbly, and perky… A woman with a positive attitude… Upbeat… She’s sincere, honest… Friendly, upbeat, easy going, good natured, happy, authentic, funny… She’s known to be resourceful, always inquisitive, and loyal… She is kind, thoughtful, caring, loving, tenacious, fun, strong, generous, and has a big heart.”
Well, there you have it.
As for how old I sound… well, while you probably can’t guess my age by hearing or seeing me (I was blessed with good genes by way of my father’s side), my vocal voice over range is late teens to late forties. I miiiiiggghhhtt be “somewhere in that range” old, too.
Mmmmmm… hold on. Did you mean, what CAN I sound like? I book voice over parts for the conversational and relatable voice over “mom” sound quite a bit, “teen” like, all the time, and “relaxed, laid back, every day person” constantly.
Some references I receive a lot for soundalikes are “gimme the snark of Harley Quinn,” or “the comedy and wit of Amy Schumer,” “the thoughtful narration of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City,” and “the friendliness and smile sound of Jennifer Garner.”
That’s me, in a nutshell!
WHERE HAVE YOU HEARD ME?

IS MY RECORDING STUDIO IN A CLOSET?
Nope. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I know plenty of incredible voice actors with studio closets and fancy booths. But, I like my elbow room, since I’m in my studio all day. It’s a professional recording studio. It even has a window with natural light beaming inside, and a nice little sitting area, complete with a royal blue velvet chair and fuzzy foot stool for visitors to relax. National and international commercials, narrations, and eLearning are recorded here. It is equipped with state of the art recording equipment like a Sennheiser MKH416, ProTools, Universal Audio VOLT audio interface, and SourceConnect Standard.
Sometimes, other voice actors borrow my studio when they’re visiting my area. It’s definitely a good recording studio.
AM I SMART?
Well, that’s a weird question. LOL. I don’t think I’m particularly smart, but I did manage to graduate from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
Even after all these years in voice over, I continually practice the craft of voice acting for commercial, narration and promo with coaches in Los Angeles and beyond.
And yeah, I’ve won some awards <blush>. I had the honor of winning the 2021 Silver ADDY Award for Voiceover, the 2020 Gold ADDY Award for Voiceover, and the 2020 BEST OF Elements of Advertising ADDY Award, from my local American Advertising Federation chapter. I’ve also had the privilege to share a bit of my life story as the Keynote Speaker of the University of Florida’s Young Alumni Awards, and even received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award myself.
Whew! That’s enough about me!! I want to get to know you!
